Version 1.5

This version, now being developed, is characterized by an increase of the screen resolution and, as a consequence, of the size of the graphics used in the game. The aforesaid graphics will be obtained from 3D models, designed with the Blender tool; however, it will work with sprites obtained from the models. The isometric engine will be the same that the one used in version 1.0 of the remake, although it'll include light effects in order to get a more "realistic" look of the rooms.

Part of the graphic work is already done; however, as I also assume the programming, a little help would be welcome. Assuming both the code and the graphics is a titanic task that requires huge amounts of time; and I wouldn’t like that this version finished in X years (as v1.0), but in X months. So, if you like 3D design and have some knowledge of Blender or any other tool (3D Studio, Maya...),  contact me. Any contribution, even the lesser one, will be welcome. For example, if you just want to design one sprite, that’s great: you will anyway appear in the game credits as graphic designer.

The main characteristics of this version will be:

  • Rendered graphics, obtained from 3D models.
  • Improved animation because of the higher number of frames for the objects
  • New graphics to homogenize each scenery aspect.
  • Game screen resolution will be 1024 x 768 pixels.
  • The isometric engine (based on Allegro 5) will support shadows and illumination effects.
  • In the biggest rooms, a camera will follow the character.
  • The game will be saved when picking the reincarnation fish.
  • It will available in several languajes. Still undetermined, but, at least, Afrikaans, Catalan, English and Spanish (Spain and Americas).
